6 Simple Collaboration Strategies to 10X Your Goals
#1 Podcast Interviews
Ask yourself these two questions: Who in my network hosts a podcast? Are their listeners my people?
This is a start! Reach out and pitch topic ideas that would be valuable for their audience. Share how your expertise and insights will benefit podcast listeners. Including a 90-second Loom video that introduces you, your brand, and topic will certainly help you stand outâand build rapport fast!
#2 Guest Blogging
If writing is your thing, guest blogging should be on your collaboration list. Not only is this an opportunity to get in front of new people, but if you do this right, you could drive some mean traffic to your website. Can we say lead generation, please!
Identify blogs that resonate with your niche and propose content ideas that align with their themes. If you download the Moz extension, you can get some intel into a websiteâs traffic through their domain authority (DA). Aim for sites that rank between 30-50 which shows theyâre driving some good traffic.
#3 Speakers, Anyone?
Events are always looking for expert leaders to grace their stages! This could range from submitting an application to speak for free in exchange for visibility and leads, or pitching a company or organization to keynote for a fee.
However you roll, speaking offers huge benefits. Hereâs an opportunity belowđđ˝
â
#4 Co-Host Webinar
This is one of my favorites!! Partnering with a fellow entrepreneur to deliver incredible value to the market is a powerhouse move. This collaboration can double your reach and foster community engagement. Plus, thereâs so much fun to be had building a deeper relationship with a fellow founder!!
Think of someone in your industry that offers a different skillset or perspective than you. How can you turn âcompetitionâ into collaboration using webinars as a vehicle? The opportunity is there!
#5 Article Contributions on Authoritative Sites
Ready to get your articles into top-tier sites? First, have your team pinpoint those respected websites in your industry. Research their submission guidelines, and tailor your content to match their standards. When you're ready, reach out with a punchy pitch that showcases the unique value your article brings. Make sure your writing is clear, insightful, and packed with data or real-world examples for maximum impact.
Once youâre in, engage with the community by commenting on other articlesâthis builds relationships with editors and readers alike. Keep a regular submission schedule, and you'll continue to establish yourself as a thought leader in your field.
#6 Pitch a Training Topic for a Community
Leaders love to invite guest trainers into their communities to keep members engaged and cement their value prop. Connect with community platforms and suggest a training session you can lead. Again, sending a video is an excellent way to quickly introduce yourself and share your passion.
